The following pictures were submitted by former "Parader" Jim Morris of Savannah, GA. The pictures were taken sometime between 1953 and 1956 when Jim traveled with the GM Parade of Progress show.
Loading Tent Beams This was taken at Trenton, N.J. where we were loading the tent-beams on to the frame-truck. (Note that there are actually two trucks in the picture.)
Parking Lot This was taken from the top of the tent looking down at the stadium parking lot at Tulane University.
Old Scout This was taken in Orlando, FL where Anthony Gagliardi lectured on "Old Scout", a 1903 Oldsmobile that won the 1st Transcontential race. "Old Scout" was fired up at each presentation.
Night Scene Night scene in Hartford, Conn. There are good views of the light towers that rose out of the tops of the Futurliners.
