The only remaining Futurliner exhibit was moved by GM from the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry to COBO Hall for the Detroit Auto Show that took place in early January of 2001. It is a great working exhibit and, according to a GM employee, it will be on permanent display at GM's World Headquarters sometime this summer.

The exhibit is behind glass in a cutaway exhibit of a Futurliner.

This close up shows a portion of the display.

Here you can see a farmer on his tractor traveling down a dirt road.

In this scene the display has changed and shows more of a modern setting.

Times change and the highway system begins to modernize.

Here we see four lane highways emerge as we look into the future.
