was the chief representative for the Diesel Engine Exhibit in the original 1936 Parade of Progress.
He was in inaugural show, first held in Florida.

Looking every bit the
part of Hollywood types and fighter pilots, the paraders take a few
moments to stretch their legs and enjoy a cigar during a rest stop.
Barnard Zink (who supplied most of these 1936 pictures) is the one in
the middle with no cigar.
